I started my study of apparel design in the fall of 2020 at Iowa State University. During the past four years, I have taken various courses studying hand illustration, digital illustration using Procreate and Adobe Suites, Patternmaking, Draping, and CAD Patternmaking using Lectra Suites.

I added a Textile Design minor during my second year at Iowa State. I have taken various courses studying color, fabric dye processes, textile science and print design. I use software such as Lectra Kaledo, Procreate, and Photoshop in order to create repeat and engineered prints.

I started my study of garment construction techniques through a technical high school called Central Campus in Des Moines, Iowa in the fall of 2018. After graduating high school, I continued my education at Iowa State University studying Apparel Merchandising and Design with an emphasis in Creative and Technical Design and a minor in Textile Design.
